🎉 What’s new in Release v221?

🎭 New Productions module makes content management easier

• Long-term events renamed to Exhibitions for clearer terminology

• Dedicated modules for each production type – separate spaces for default productions, movies, exhibitions, and courses for faster navigation

• Tabbed content organisation – different types of information are now organised in tabs, eliminating the need to scroll through long pages to find specific fields

 

 

• Theme and collection management built in – view which themes or collections include each production, and add or remove productions directly from the production page

 

 

How do I use it?

• Look for the Beta tag in your CMS menu to access the new Productions module, or find the new dedicated Movies, Courses, and Exhibitions modules in your menu.

• The original Productions module remains available during the transition period and still contains all production types.

 

🚀 Template text changes now publish instantly

• Publishing template text changes just got more reliable.

• Previously, updating text in the Template texts module could be unpredictable – changes might not appear on your website, take a long time to show up.

• We've implemented a new caching system that recognises when Template texts change and automatically clears the cache to ensure consistent publishing.

• Changes now appear across your entire website within 5 minutes.

• No action needed – this improvement works automatically in the background. Simply update your template texts as usual, and they'll publish reliably within 5 minutes.

📞 Require phone numbers on waiting list forms

• Waiting list forms in integrated API mode now support required phone number fields, giving you the option to collect essential contact information from visitors joining your waiting lists.

• If a phone number already exists on the account, it displays and can be updated. If the field is empty, visitors can add their number, which will be saved to their account.

• Enable the "Require phone number" setting in your Control Panel under Routes & Parts > Waiting list to make phone numbers mandatory on your waiting list forms.

📱 Add tickets to Apple and Google Wallet

• Visitors using Peppered HTML tickets can now add them directly to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet from the online "My Tickets" area, making it easier for them to access tickets on their mobile devices.

• Your branding applies automatically to wallet ticket designs, but we need to prepare a specific logo variants before you can go live with this feature.

• Contact us if you'd like to start using wallet tickets, and we'll set up the correct logos for your designs.

🔄 Visitors can reconsider unsubscribing (and stay connected)

• Unsubscribe pages now include a "Stay subscribed" button that gives visitors the option to reconsider before leaving your mailing list completely.

• Instead of unsubscribing immediately, they're directed to their email preferences where they can adjust their subscription settings – helping you retain subscribers who might just want different communication options.

 

• No action needed – the button has already been added to all unsubscribe pages automatically.

🔍 Account pages are now easier to find

 

 

• For integrated websites, search results now show links to login and account pages

• Account pages are not part of regular search results, so this makes it easier for people to find them

• No action needed: links appear automatically in search results if you have account integration

For Ticketmatic Venues

🎫 Better voucher identification with full details for Ticketmatic

• The personal voucher overview now displays comprehensive voucher information from Ticketmatic, making it easier for visitors to identify and use their vouchers for payments.

• The display now includes voucher number, name, original amount, and remaining balance for all vouchers connected to their account.

• No action needed – voucher details now appear automatically in the voucher overview for all Ticketmatic users.

For Tessitura Venues

📄 Import Tessitura Fulltext as event descriptions

• The Tessitura updater can now import the "Fulltext" field to use as your event description, giving you more flexibility in how you display event information on your website.

• Contact us to activate this feature for your organisation – we'll enable the Fulltext import in your Tessitura integration settings.

⚙️ Additional fixes & Improvements

• Darker gradient overlay option on image grids for improved text contrast (enabled by default on new websites for WCAG compliance)

• Correct labels added to language switch and login button for better screen reader support (Thanks to HNT for spotting this)

• Productions on People pages now display in correct order instead of randomly

• Lightboxes now function properly across all media gallery layouts

• Query combos can now be deleted as intended

• Query combos now give the correct total when used in Mailings (Thanks to Isala Theater for spotting this)

• Fixed 404 errors on URLs starting with "my"

• Improved CSS cache system for faster loading of style updates

• Enhanced redirect handling for URLs with trailing slashes

• Imported opt-ins now correctly set to "confirmed" status

• Enhanced cookie security (Thanks to The Lowry for sharing your PCI insights)

• Wayfinding display calculations refined for better pointer placement on screens

• Wayfinding cloakroom icon added to available options

• Wayfinding fix to fully hide events that have finished
